There are no words that can express the depth of our appreciation of the support and caring we have received during the passing of our Mum, Nancy Welsh. To The Hospice of Prince Edward, you gave us relief while providing Mum comfort, compassion and dignity. It was far beyond our expectation and it will never be forgotten. Our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Burke, Dana and April for their attentive, always available, support and care. To our care team, Tabitha, Cindy and Moe; we were blessed to find you. You were outstanding and provided the much needed support and guidance we so needed during this difficult time. Thank you to Michelle who helped Mum the past many years. Even on the most challenging of days, you were a cheerleader for “Team Nancy”. Mum resided at Loyalist Manor the past 2 years and according to rumour she was quite the character. We appreciate the stories shared by staff and residents about Mum’s playful nature, her piano playing, her enthusiasm for Toronto sports teams and her regular flower deliveries. To Whattam’s Funeral Home for helping us with the service and planning, Mike and Ben, your thoughtful care and guidance was appreciated. To our extended family, friends and neighbours we thank you for the cards, calls, food, flowers and Hospice donations. In shared memories or in random acts of kindness we will remember Nancy, Nan, Mum, Nanny, Nanny Welsh, Gran, Granny, Granny Ellen, Granny Nasty, Mrs. Welsh.
