Bill Harrington of Calgary, Alberta passed away on Monday, August 19, 2019 at the age of 77. Born in Picton, on March 25, 1942, Bill moved to Alberta to explore work in the western part of Canada. While working in Northern Alberta, he met his wife Una Lee. Together, they lived in Fort McMurray for twenty-five years, until they relocated to St. Albert. Bill moved to Calgary shortly after the passing of his wife Una in 2007. Bill loved being involved in his community where ever he was. He loved to laugh and always enjoyed the lime light, often becoming the life of the party with his stories and jokes. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by family. Bill is survived by his sons, Andrew (Audrey) and Geoff (Natalie); his nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and his brother Jim. Bill was predeceased by his wife Una, his parents, David and Agnes; his brothers, Richard, David, Robert, and Arthur; his sister Marie, and his daughter Ashley. A Celebration of Life will be held in Edmonton in September, and in Ontario next year.
