The display will include Canadian Armed Forces kit and equipment and is open to anybody interested in learning about the Canadian Armed Forces.

Recruiters for the Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment will be at this display to speak with anybody interested in joining the Regiment.  Recruiters will also be giving a recruiting presentation during the event starting at 630pm.

The Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment is an Army Reserve Regiment, its members work part time on evenings and weekends from September to May with the option for full time employment over the summer months.

Due to the part time nature of the Regiment it balances well with education (both High School and Post-Secondary) and most other jobs or situations.

The Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment historically had its headquarters in Picton but moved it to Belleville during World War 2.  The Picton armouries is no longer used by the Regiment so members from the surrounding areas travel to the Belleville armouries to work but members not living with 17Km of the armouries can get mileage reimbursement.
