As people age getting out in the garden and on the lawn and gardens can become more and more of a chore. Community Care is here to help seniors stay living in their own homes in the community. Before you think about moving to an apartment so you can leave your lawns and gardens behind, think about calling our office for some help.
Community Care has a Home Maintenance program for seniors that offers screened workers who will provide yardwork, gardening and other outside work.
During the pandemic the program is on hold. However, there will come a time when all of Community Care’s programs will be back up and running and so why not plan ahead?
Call the office to find out more about this. You must be signed up as a client of Community Care to have access to these workers.
These are carefully screened workers and they are available at reasonable rates. When we get to the other side of this pandemic help will again be available with yard work, grass cutting, light and heavy housework, meal preparation, and respite – both during the day and overnight.
One of the programs that is NOT on hold is delivery to your door of a hot nutritious noon-time meal means 3X/week physically distant contact with a volunteer to help you stay safe and well in your own home.
