Illumin and Base31 to host Dusk Dance and Drone shows this summer

Canada’s leading drone company Illumin and Base31 will be teaming up this summer to provide a unique and illuminating experience to for all ages this summer.

Illumin and Base31 announced on Wednesday its latest outdoor event series: Dusk Dance and Drone Shows.

The Dusk Dance and Drone Shows will take place on June 16th, July 7th, July 14th, August 4th, August 18th, and September 1st, from dusk until late.

Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and  Attendees will enjoy a night of dancing, featuring a DJ spinning,  food and drink, and a spectacular drone and light show by Illumin Drones.

The drone show showcases a fleet of Illumin drones that will dance and weave in the sky, creating a stunning display of light and colour.

Illumin’s creative team works alongside City Hova Inc., a licensed drone operator, to navigate the complex regulatory process involved with drone light shows. Currently, Illumin is one of the only drone lights show companies to receive regulatory approval to operate within Canada. Illumin’s partnership with global drone manufacturer UVify ensures that audiences will be entertained by a unique experience using the latest in IFO drone technology.

Illumin will be showcasing UVify’s latest light show technology over the summer at Base31 in Picton, Ontario. These will be the most advanced drone entertainment shows to ever take place in Canada. Using the same UVify drone technology used by the NFL at the Super Bowl, Avatar II premier, the NBA draft, FIFA, Queen’s Jubilee, and more.

Illumin’s creative team alongside City Hova’s aviation experts will coordinate 213 of UVify’s industry leading IFO drones to paint the sky in 3D animations timed to music.
