Well Nancy, it’s been a year.
Penny & I watched you leave us. We couldn’t believe our eyes,
One minute you were having fun and smiling And then it was all over.
I know the bottom fell out of my life,
You were everything to me and your family and Sunnybrae.
I think of you all the time,
Cry most of the time trying to put my life back together
But it will never be the same after 55 yrs.
I gave you your ring and asked you to marry me on Valentine’s Day 1962.
We had a lot of ups & downs, But we still loved each other
And I will forever miss you.
