George Leslie Cooper
With his family at his side George Cooper passed away at the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital on Tuesday March 13, 2018, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Elaine Marilyn Cooper (nee Minaker) and loved father of Deborah Ann “Debbie” Cooper and Wendy Norton (Jack Wright), all of Picton, Laurie Rosborough (Dale McLaren) of Belleville and Michael (Carol) of Toronto. Proud grandfather of Chett, Shalise, Torbin, Kastin, Michael, Jeri-Lyn, Troy, Curtis, Christie and Andrew, great grandfather of 14 and greatgreat grandfather of 2. Dear brother of Herb (Margo), Carolann (Robert Gorman) and the late Bruce (Ruth), Dennis (Janeann) and Dawn. Mr. Cooper rested at the Hicks Funeral Home, 2 Centre Street, Picton. Memorial service in the chapel on Thursday March 22 at 11 am. The Reverend Audrey Whitney officiating. Spring interment at Cherry Valley Cemetery. There will be no prior visitation. Friends are welcome to join the family at the Picton Elks/Legion Hall following the service in celebration of George’s life.
