Raymond Kell in his 72nd year, passed away on May 21, 2018 at HJ McFarland Memorial Home in Picton, Ontario. He was born on June 22, 1946 in Middlesbrough, England to the late Thomas and Ruth Kell. Survived by his wife of 52 years, Wendy Kell (nee Walsh) and their children: Angela Kell (Terry), Richard Kell (Shirley) and Vicki Kell (Ron); grandchildren: Benjamin Courtney (Kayla), Erin Courtney (Braedon), Cody Kell (Stephanie), Kelsey Piszczek (Owen), Colton Kemp (Samantha), Christy Kemp, Brigham Kemp; four great-grandchildren; siblings: Jean Hore (late Ray), Sheila Allison (late Dave), Bryan Kell (Nancy), Ann McPherson (Gary); and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Bill Kell and parents-in-law, Ted and Frances Walsh. Ray worked for Fabricon, Trenton Public Utilities, and then ran Kell Construction in both Trenton and Picton. he was a lifetime member of the Trenton Legion and enjoyed singing and playing drums and guitar in a local country band for many years. Cremation has taken place. Ray’s remains will be laid to rest at the Mount Evergreen Cemetery on Stockdale Road during a private, family ceremony.
