“Sam” Alton Laverne Hunt
Peacefully in his home, Sam Hunt passed away on Sunday June 17, 2018 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Illa L. Hunt (nee Claridge) and loved father of Jamie of Picton, Thomas of Pembroke and Cynthia (Barry Mossing) of Courtice. Proud grandfather to Jordan, Ryan (Izabella) and Brendan and dear brother to Keith (Elspeth) Williams of Picton and the late Gerald and Glen (Clare) of London. Sam was a long-time member of the Royal Canadian Legion Picton Br 78. Mr. Hunt rested at the Hicks Funeral Home, 2 Centre Street, Picton. Memorial Service in St. Philip’s Anglican Church, Milford on Saturday June 23 at 12 noon. The Reverend Ada Clifton officiating. Cremation with interment at Glenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 11 am. until service time.
