Karen Holst Dunkley
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Karen Dunkley (nee Jensen) at the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital surrounded by family on Friday December 28, 2018. Wife to the love of her life Patrick Dunkley. Beloved mother of Elisabeth Jorgensen, Hanne Sorensen (deceased), Jessie Mayhew, Ejna Best (Raymond), Johnny Sorensen (Heather) and her many grand-children and great grandchildren. She filled her life with horses and dogs. First showing horses and then trail riding with husband Pat all over Ontario. Throughout her life she raised purebred Collies and German Shepherds. She trained dogs to the Canadian Kennel Club standard and created many canine drill teams. Always the animal lover. As requested by Karen there will be no service at this time. A family gathering in celebration of her life will take place in the spring. Memorial donations to the Loyalist Humane Society would be appreciated by her family.
