Poppy Power

Last fall, Branch 78 of the Royal Canadian Legion raised over $19,000 through its annual Poppy campaign through over 80 boxes in and around Picton. On Friday, they donated $3,000 from those proceeds to the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation. The money will support te purchase of nine large-volume infusion pumps. Each pump is valued at $6,746.
