The family of the late Juanita “Doreen” Punchard wishes to express heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the kindness and support shown to us on the loss of our beloved mother and grandmother. Thank you to all our family, friends and neighbours who attended the visitation and funeral, donations of food, visits to mom and our family, sympathy cards, memorial charitable donations, telephone calls, emails, rides to the hospital and floral tributes in memory of mom. Special thanks to the staff of Arbour Heights Nursing Home, Kingston (Portmouth Park) and to Dr, Louis Kennedy for all the excellent care given to mom and kindness to our family throughout the 7 years in which she resided there. Sincere thanks to the staff at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre, Dr. Melanson, Dr. Jalini, Dr. LaSalle, Dr. Wong, Dr. Reid, nurses and staff in the Emergency Department, Davies 4 ICU, the Palliative Care Team, ambulance attendants, Hailey from Kidd 7 and Tim Dejonge from Spiritual Care. A big thank  you to the Connell 9 staff and their manager Rana Fowler for all the support to our family and excellent care given to mom during her last days. We are forever grateful! Your kindness and compassion will never be forgotten! A heartfelt thank you to Archdeacon Bill Clarke of St. Thomas Church for all his visits to mom, support and kindness to our family and for officiating at the funeral service, to Valerie Fredricks who sang and played the organ at the funeral. Many thanks to the Hannah Funeral Home, Napanee and their staff for all their guidance and professionalism. Your help was greatly appreciated. Lastly, thank you to all the pallbearers who served at mom’s funeral and to everyone who spoke at the service. To each and everyone of you – your love, kindness and support will always be remembered. Words cannot express the gratitude we feel to all who have shown their kindness. God bless you all!
