Son of Linda Slatter (Thompson) and the late Ronald Slatter. Loving husband of Sarah Slatter (Dulmage) for 13 years. Devoted father of Ellie-Ann and Sydnee Slatter. Dear brother of Sherilee (Vic Deroy). “Uncle JJ” is fondly remembered by his nephews and niece Ethan and Brady Ingram, Victoria and Gaige Deroy Son-in-law of Ken and Betty Dulmage and brother-in-law of Jennifer (Alex Ingram). Cherished by his many Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and Friends T.J. was best known for his love of life, love of people and his heart of gold. He took great pride in his family and his business HillTop Home Improvements. He made friends everywhere he went and was always giving the shirt off his back to anyone who could use it. He was one of a kind and will be sadly missed by all that adore him! A special thank you to Dr. Negine Nahiddi for her endless 24/7 care, PECMH Nurses and staff, Dr. Colin Struthers, Belleville General Hospital and Toronto General Hospital. We especially thank our community for their love and generosity, all our family and friends for your numerous hospital visits, phone calls and encouragement, Dan and Lynda Doyle for all your support, Glen Shiels for holding the business together for T.J. and those that came to Toronto in the end to say your goodbyes!  A Celebration of Life has been arranged, for his family and friends to share and laugh at all the memories, and to raise a glass in his memory at the Highline Hall at Lehigh Arena, 111 Belleville St, Wellington on Friday, August 30th from 1pm-4pm.
