Media show little respect for war dead at Picton Cenotaph

Am I the only one at our Picton Remembrance Day ceremony who felt dismay at the actions of the photographers?

I think that, out of respect, they should have taken their photos from a discrete distance.

Given their expensive cameras, they had no excuse for their disruptive manoeuvring and paparazzi style in your face close-ups.

Such an indignity to the dead for no reason.
