Died peacefully at Hallowell House on Tuesday December 3, 2019. Gerald McAuley, formerly of Lake on the Mountain Road where he proudly farmed, operated a gravel pit and conducted a haulage business, at the age of 89. Beloved husband for 58 years of Laura, of Picton. Loved dad of John (Angela), of Oshawa. Son of the late Patrick and Annie McAuley and brother of the late Agnes. Uncle of Julie, Gary and John, and remembered by their families. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church on Monday December 9th at 11 a.m. Officiated by the Rev. Fr. George Okoye. Interment to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to St. Gregory the Great Church or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
