Peacefully at Hallowell House on Wednesday March 18, 2020, Joseph Louis “Joe” Johns passed away at the age of 94. Beloved husband of the late Mildred Grace (nee Lewis). Loved father of Wayne (Linda) of Foxboro, Sharon (Jim Cole) of Ameliasburgh, Patricia Fraser of Wellington, Katherine Miller of Orangeville and Carolyn Thurston of Picton. Loving grandfather of Richard, Shane (Lisa), Christine, Laurie, Kerry (Corey), Joey (Angie), Taryn (Tyler), Richard, Nicole (Ben) and Thomas (Cherina), great grandfather of Westley, Brody, Ryan, Brandon, Meghan, Emily, Abby, Alyiah, Connor, Shailyn, Breanna, Marcus, Maverick and Taylor and great great grandfather of Theo and Madison. Joe was a Royal Canadian Navy WW II veteran and worked at Lipson’s Dept. store for 54 years. Thanks to the wonderful staff at Hallowell House for the care and affection given to both Mom and Dad. Mr. Johns is resting at the Whattam Funeral Home, 33 Main St., Picton, ON. A private family service will take place followed by cremation.
