STALEY, Leslie “Les” 

Leslie “Les”  Staley passed away after a lengthy struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease on Monday April 27, 2020 at the age of 78 years. Loving husband, father and grandpa. Les will be forever missed by his wife Kathy, children Diana (Dennis Jarrell) and Glen (Suzanne) and by his grandchildren Madison, Jacob, Alex and Michael. He is survived by his brothers Ken and Brian (Nancy) and by sister Florence Horsfield. Predeceased by his parents Lorne and Ethel Staley and by siblings, Irene, Jack, Jean, Ron and Doreen. Les owned and operated a plumbing business for several years and later worked out of Local 67 Plumbers and Fitters in Hamilton. Les was also known by his many friends and associates as the “left-handed plumber.” A heartfelt thank you to the staff of the John Noble Home-Cockshutt Place for the wonderful care he received during his stay. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions a celebration of Les’ life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the McCLEISTER FUNERAL HOME, 495 Park Road N. Brantford. Donations may be made in memory of Les to the Alzheimer’s Society of Brant or the Canadian Cancer Society.
