I am extremely concerned that the nearly one million annual visitors to the County will prove a serious threat to the health of residents (not to mention the visitors).
Many come because it is a wonderful place, quiet, clean – others to enjoy the beaches and parks.
But we all know what this means: stores are beyond over-crowded, sidewalks are packed, BNBs and campparks (etc.) are beyond capacity.
I sincerely hope the current BNB/short stay restrictions remain and that the province/municipality will either close or severely curtail the allowable number of visitors to them.
Yours sincerely,
Mary Lazier Corbett
