Leila Emily Elaine (Elaine) Ullrich of Katonah, NY, in her 78th year, died peacefully at home, surrounded by love, on July 23, 2020. Elaine grew up in Northport, Ontario and was a graduate of Prince Edward Collegiate Institute and Toronto General Hospital School of Nursing. She was a Cardiac Care Unit Supervisor at Mt. Sinai Hospital, NYC, for a number of years and was instrumental in the establishment and operation of Multiplier Industries Corp., alongside her husband Walter, from 1972 until retirement in 2006. Predeceased by her beloved husband Walter A. Ullrich, Jr. (2013), her dear sister, Helene M. Robinson (1987), her brother-in-law Donald J. Robinson (2018) and her loving parents Ethel and Howard Mallett. Loved by her nieces, Pamela Townsend (James), Jennifer Robinson, Diane Rawlins (Michael) all of London Ontario. Dear great aunt of Alexandra Strong (Robert), Sarah Townsend and Alison Sherlock (Morgan), Elise O’Hara (Allen) and Jennifer Rawlins. Loving stepmother of Suzanne Gardiner (Jason) and grandchildren Jennifer, Stephanie and Julian Gardiner, USA. Due to Covid-19 restrictions funeral will be held at a later date (arrangements Clark Associates Funeral Home, Katonah, NY). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and COPD Foundation.
