Media reports that the Federal Government’s Throne Speech next week will have to explain how it plans to deal with the issues of the pandemic, the economic recession and moving to a healthier sustainable future.
We all appreciate the government having returned some of our taxes in order to survive while we are locked down. It is also clear during this time of fires around the world and frequent destructive storms that the only sustainable future is an audacious plan to get everyone back to work repairing the country’s infrastructure, planting trees, creating farms to grow our food, putting solar power on every roof and protecting our natural heritage’s biodiversity.
Only then will our economy become sustainable.
I think I’ll write Justin.
