Claude Marie Kavanagh passed away at home on Tuesday, April 13, 2021. Claude was in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late John (Jack) Kavanagh (2008). She is survived by her five children and their partners: Suzanne Kavanagh, Michael Kavanagh and Denise Sabourin, Jim and Arlene Kavanagh, Peter Kavanagh; and David Kavanagh and Elsie Hart. Loving grandmother (G-ma) of six grandchildren and great-grandmother (G.G.) to seven. Predeceased by her parents Phillipe and Simone Belanger; and brother Jean Louis Belanger. Claude was a hooker (of rugs) and a member of St. Gregory the Great Parish and a Catholic Womens League member for over sixty years. Claude loved gardening, travelling, hooking and a good story. To celebrate Claude’s Life, donations may be made to the following charities that were close to her in many ways: Hospice Prince Edward, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario and Covenant House. Inurnment at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, Mississauga will take place at a later date.
