Eliminating the cost of passenger vehicle license plate stickers will challenge the Ontario Treasury to transfer millions of dollars to our municipalities for much needed road maintenance and renewal, leading to higher property taxes to fill the funding gap. Not one single Ontarian is complaining about the $120.00 annual fee.
Citizens of PEC should be prepared to pay higher property taxes over the next 12 months and because of Doug Ford’s sticker decision. Clearly this is a manufactured issue or ploy for attempted re-election by the Ford Government. Hopefully Ontarians will not be fooled by this political trickery!
Ontarians deserve a government ruled by intelligence and not ignorance.
