It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Neeltje Smit (Nellie), at the age of 80 on Monday, February 28th, 2022. Beloved wife of Wayne Smit. Loving mother of Diann (Mike) Shandraw, Carol Smit, Wayne (Tammy) Smit. Grandmother of Phylicia, Micheal, Michelle, Jayden, Jenna. Great Grandmother of Sophia, Caraline, Ben, Alaina. She will be missed by her siblings, Helen Kempers, Sandra Kempenaar, Alice Pickel, Amy Uitbeiersen, Andrew Draaistra, Geert Draaistra. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Nellie’s life will take place at a later date.
