Peacefully entered into rest at Hospice Prince Edward, Picton on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, Jenny Rose Prout (nee Jones) of Picton died at the age of 87. She was the daughter of the late James & Annie Jones (nee Delyea) and was the beloved wife of the late Jim. Jenny was the loving mother of Pat Guernsey (Paul) of Picton and the late Bobby. She was the dearest Nan of Rachel Conley (Ken), Jennifer Ormond (Brett), Randall Guernsey (Michelle), Megan Guernsey (Shane Wilkinson), Joshua Guernsey (Kaylin), and
Melissa Seay (Sam) and the great nan of Nolan, Abigail, Grace, Charlotte, Griffin, Savanna, Payden, Alayna, Ethan, Lena, Miles, Avery, Shannon and Aiden. Jenny is survived by her brother Jimmy (Grace) Jones, and her sisters Joyce (Pat) Gervais and Brenda (Ron) Ryan and by her sister-in-law Elaine Jones. She is predeceased by her brother Leonard Jones. Jenny will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Prout is resting at the Rushnell Funeral Home – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street West, Picton (613-476-2450) for visitation on Thursday, May 12 from 6-8 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at the Emmanuel Baptist Church, 2 Corey Street, Bloomfield on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 12:30 pm with visitation for 1 hour prior to the service.
