Passed away peacefully at Hallowell House Long Term Care, Picton on Thursday, August 11, 2022 in his 96th year. Beloved husband of Jean (Veldhuis) for 68 years. Loving father to John and Linda Veenstra, Mike and Joanne Veenstra, Margaret and Allen Koopmans, Marianne and Brad Willcock, Harry and Evelyn Veenstra. Harm is survived by his older sister, Gail Wemekamp. He is predeceased by his brothers Walter, Arnold, Andy, Bert and Harry and by his sister Betty. Loved Pake to 12 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.   The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Management and Staff of Hallowell House, Picton for their care and compassion of Harm. Mr. Veenstra rested at the Rushnell Funeral Home – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street (613-476-2450) for visitation on Sunday, August 14 from 6 – 8 pm. Funeral Service was held on Monday, August 15, 2022 at 11 am in Bethany Christian Reformed Church, Bloomfield.  Interment Quaker Cemetery, Bloomfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Sonrise Christian Academy would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences at: www.rushnellfamilyservices.com
