Locals Mary Brett, David Gilbert and Peggy deWitt all came together to host an art show and sale with funds going to Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation’s Back the Build as well as Rotary International’s Ukrainian Relief Fund 

Brett, who has arranged many art shows around The County, decided together with her team that proceeds would be for both here at home and away. All told,  the combined efforts of the artists raised over $2,260.

“We mounted an art show and sale with help from the hospital and several people here in the County with Ukrainian backgrounds,” Brett stated. “Our plan was to support both the hospital build and our friends in Ukraine.”

“The weather was amazing and my friends turned out to help,” added Brett “We had visitors both days and in the end we had some money to hand over to both causes.”
