FERGUSON, Kenneth AA

FERGUSON, Kenneth AA
July 25, 1929 – October 7, 2022
It is with great sadness that the family of Kenneth Alden Adams Ferguson announces his passing on Friday, October 7, 2022 at PECMH with his family by his side. He was predeceased by his parents Major Gerald T. Ferguson and Corinne (nee Adams), his late wife Loretta (nee Church) who was the love of his life, and his sisters Betty (Richard Evans) and Phyllis (Bill Bailey). He will be dearly missed by his children, Sandra (Joe), Rosemary (late Sid), Ken Jr. (Michelle). He was the proud grandpa of Shannon, Leslie (Rick), Corrine (Josh), Elijah, Adam and Anna Jean. He held a special spot in his heart for his 7 great grandchildren. After several years of serving in the Armed Forces, in Canada and abroad, he went on to enjoy a very successful career as Senior Captain of the Glenora Ferry. He had a passion for raising Black Angus and loved showing them at the local, fall fairs. In his retirement he enjoyed wintering in Florida, playing golf and hosting friends and family at Lazy Days Village. He will be missed by friends and staff at the Wellings. His family is very proud of all that he accomplished, but he was most proud of his family. He was a mentor and friend to many within the fellowship of his program. He lived one day at a time. Mr. Ferguson rested at Rushnell Funeral Home – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street (613-476-2450) Picton. There will be a celebration of life in Kenneth’s honour at a later date.
