WHATTAM, Faye Ellen (Eveleigh)
August 3rd, 1931 – November 11th, 2022
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we remember the life of Faye Ellen Whattam (nee Eveleigh) who passed away at her home on November 11th, 2022.  Faye was 91 years old. Faye was predeceased by her husband, Robert Judson Whattam, in 1997.  Faye and Robert were married on August 2nd, 1952 at the United Church in Picton, Ontario.  Daughter to the late Dorothy (nee Bowerman) and Harry Eveleigh.  Sister to Robert (dec) and Rexford (dec).  Faye is survived by her four children, Paul (Kim), Judy (Ken), Richard (Arlene), Susan (Michael), 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 5 great, great grandchildren. Faye was born in the old Picton Hospital and spent her childhood and early adulthood in Prince Edward County.  She often reminisced about growing up on the farm on Mowbray Road.  Helping her dad grow and harvest tomatoes, swimming every evening in the different lakes and bays around the County, and playing baseball against the boys.  Faye spoke of watching the farmers haul their wagons full of produce down the main street in Wellington to the canneries. In 1977, Faye and Robert moved to British Columbia.  Faye enjoyed long motorcycle trips with Robert while living on the west coast.  These trips took them across Canada numerous times. Faye will be interred alongside her husband, Robert, in the Cherry Valley Cemetery. Rest in peace Mom.
