Feeling stuck, unsure where to begin, or struggling to move a painting forward? Join artist-instructor Julie Seddon for a supportive, motivating 2-day workshop designed to help you start – or restart – your painting practice!

We’ll begin exactly where you are, focusing on your individual goals through group critiques and one-on-one coaching. Working not only with colour mixing, composition and paint handling, but also meaning, intention and feeling to help you realize your overall goals as a painter.

Participants are encouraged to bring a source image they’ve been wanting to paint, or a stalled work they’re ready to move forward. Additional source materials and canvases will be available for those looking to experiment. Open to curious beginners and experienced painters alike – everyone is welcome!

Age range – 18+

2-Day Workshop: Saturday March 7th & Sunday March 8th, 2026 from 1-4 PM at The County Arts Lab, Unit 2E, The Armoury, Picton. Sliding scale pricing.
