Community Plein Air Painting Day
Spend the day plein air painting with Pam. “Let’s chat, create and paint the landscape together”.

Join us for a exploratory “Happening” at the Rose House Museum – an idyllic, pastoral setting to capture some wonderful plein air moments and insights.
Spend the day exploring the landscape that surrounds us at the Rose Cottage Museum . The focus will be on developing lively, impressionistic studies that honour both the landscape and the bold, spirited tradition of Canadian plein painting. Just for us, examples of early Canadian paintings and studies will be shown. Wonderful inspiration.

Grab some friends, pack a lunch and spend the day together in the County at the Rose House Museum, hosted by Pam Mayhew – a plein air artist.
Suggested donation of $10

Bio
Pam Mayhew is a Canadian artist known for her lively abstractions that feature bold, gestural brushstrokes and a joyful palette. Current works allude to land and waterscapes of both Ontario and Newfoundland while abstracting the image to allow the viewer room to interpret the compositions according to their own life experiences.
