It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carl Auguste Joly on July 31st, 2024 in Belleville, Ontario at the age of 69. Carl spent his final moments at Belleville General Hospital surrounded by his loving family and friends.

Born to Jeannette Ouellet and Richard Joly on January 25, 1955, Carl was the first of four children. He will be forever remembered for his love of food, cooking and entertaining family and friends.

Carl will be dearly missed by his wife of 34 years, Halina Mikicki, and his daughter, Alexandra (Kyle). He is survived by his granddaughters Scarlett and Monroe, his sisters Hélène (Luc), Jasmine (Michel), Viviane (Jean-Marc), nephews Stéphan (Anouk), Pierre-Alexandre (Beatrice), Jean-Philip (Annelyse), the Mikicki-Duret Family, as well as many other family, friends and members of the community.

A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, October 26 from 2:00pm-5:00pm at 1 Main Street, Picton.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to Belleville General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
