Peacefully entered into rest at Hospice Prince Edward, on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, Catherine Flake (nee Beaumont) of Picton, died at the age of 85. Daughter of the late Jack Beaumont & Gladys (nee Scott) and wife of the late Glen Flake. Loving mother of Glenda Boyd (Duane), and Beth Piper (Gordon) all of Picton. Dearest grandmother of Nick (Allison), Graeme (Liz), Amanda, Kristen (Jordan), Mitchell (Kayla) and Madison and great grandmother of Dexter, Zoe, Olivia, Zac, Hunter and Isla. Survived by her siblings Tilton Beaumont (Josie) of Windsor, Christopher Beaumont (Betty) of Nova Scotia, Pat Webb of Belleville, Stephen Beaumont of Nova Scotia and Kelly Beaumont (Sandra) of Beamsville, ON and predeceased by her brother Herbert “Tony” Beaumont. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Flake rested at Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street (613-476-2450). A Family & Friend’s Graveside Service was held at Glenwood Cemetery, Picton. If desired, donations to Hospice Prince Edward would be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences at www.rushnellfuneralhomes.com
