Peacefully entered into rest at her home, on Friday, May 23, 2025, Concetta Romano (nee Giampapa) of Picton, died at the age of 83. Daughter of the late Giuseppe and Corradina Giampapa (nee Spadaro) and wife of the late Giuseppe “Joe”. Loving mother of Rita of Picton, Corrada (Sebastiano) of Italy, Gaetano (Laura), Franzo (Dinora) and Giovanna, all of Picton and grandmother of Paolo, Marco, Giulia (Gianfranco), Oriana, Keithen, Daniele, Josuele, Emmanuel. Predeceased by her sister Rosaria Giampapa. Aunt of Angelica, Letizia, and Giuseppina. Remembered by Isela Soto (mother of Daniele and Josuele) and the entire extended families. Mrs. Romano is resting at the Rushnell Funeral Home – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street (613-476-2450) for visitation on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 from 10 am – 1:30 pm. Prayer Service in the Chapel at 1:30 pm, followed by cremation. If desired, donations in memory of Concetta to the Children Believe (formerly Christian Children’s Fund) would be appreciated. Online condolences at: www.rushnellfuneralhomes.com
