It is with deep sympathy that the family of Craig Ross Dougherty has announced his passing away in Brockville on March 14, 2024 following a lengthy battle with cancer. Born in Belleville on June 2nd, 1947, son of the late William Dougherty and Lulu (nee Snider) and husband of 44 years to the late Gwendolyn (nee Jones). Loved father of Scott (Darby) of Carrying Place and the late Chris. Blessed grandfather of Michael (Jess), Joshua (Becky), Damien (Jeremy) and Jacob. Predeceased by his brother Ralph Dougherty (surviving Sue) of Picton and fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. A long time business owner of 30 years, Craig will be sadly missed by his many customers and friends on Sheba’s Island.
 
Mr. Dougherty rested at Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street, (613-476-2450). Cremation has taken place. Memorial Service in the Chapel on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 11 am with visitation for 1 hour prior to the Service. If desired, donations to the Cancer Centre of Eastern Ontario at KHSC would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences at: www.rushnellfuneralhomes.com
