Passed away peacefully at Hospice Prince Edward, Picton, on Monday, April 28, 2025, George Mayne of Picton died at the age of 91. He leaves behind his beloved wife Vera (nee Hawley) of 61 years. Son of the late William & Dora Mayne. Predeceased by his sister Jean Moore. He will be remembered by his nephew Paul Moore, his niece Lynda Labretton and their families, and friends Barb Sills and Andy & Grace Prinzen. A special thanks to all who provided healthcare services to George during the last months of his life. In keeping with George’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Private Graveside Service will be held at Cherry Valley Cemetery. If desired, donations in memory of George to the Salvation Army Community Church or Hospice Prince Edward would be appreciated.
