Malcolm Frederick “Mal” Campbell

Captain (Ret’d) Campbell Sr., CD – 851 Prince Edward R.C.(Air)C.S. – 1977-2005;
851 Prince Edward Squadron Sponsoring Committee, Air Cadet League of
Canada Ontario Provincial Committee, 2005-2024; 
48 years with the Cadet Program in Prince Edward County – 

Entered into rest at Hospice Prince Edward, Picton, on Friday, March 8, 2024, Mal Campbell of Picton, died at the age of 83. Son of the late Walter Campbell & Vera (nee Fox) and beloved husband for 62 years of Jean (nee Murdoch). Loving father of Kathryn Johnson (Andrew) of Blenheim, Carolyn Campbell-Suchard (Jody), and Michael (Karie), all of Picton.  Dearest grandfather of Andrew (Joreigh), Kaitlyn (Chad), Matthew and Abigail and expecting great-granddaughter “Edwards”. Predeceased by his brother Don Campbell and his sister Margaret York. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Mr. Campbell rested at Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street, (613-476-2450). Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Mal’s Life will be held at a later date. If desired, donations to the 851 Prince Edward RCACS, Loyalist Humane Society, or Hospice Prince Edward (cheques only) would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences at: www.rushnellfuneralhomes.com
