Our beautiful Mom, Margaret “Anne” Aman, passed away on July 11, 2026 surrounded by an abundance of love, comfort and the profound gratitude of those who will deeply miss her. Her final days were embraced with compassion and care at Hospice Prince Edward, for which we will be forever grateful. 
Originally from Brampton, Mom leaves behind her sister, Linda Bannister (Ralf), and her sister-in-law, Louise Rundle. Anne was predeceased by her parents, Violet and James Rundle and her brothers, Walter and Jim Rundle.
Life changed when Mom married a county boy, Jim Aman, sharing 43 years of marriage before Jim’s passing in 2014. She was a loving matriarch to her daughters, Bonnie McStravick (Paul) and Tammie Walmsley (Ryan). She wore the proud titles of “Grannie” and Grandma like a badge of honour, pouring endless love into her grandchildren, Skylar McStravick, Madison Walmsley, Kya Walmsley and great grandchild, Xander McStravick. 
Anne’s warmth extended far beyond her immediate family. She will be dearly missed by her lifelong, caring friends, Ronnie and Marilyn Robinson, as well as a vibrant circle of friends, neighbours, in-laws, nieces and nephews. 
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, August 9 from 2-4pm at Sophiasburgh Town Hall. The Family invites everyone who knew Anne, also fondly remembered as “Grannie”, to gather, honour, and share in her beautiful memory.
