Peacefully entered into rest at her home, on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, Nancy Monroe (nee Mitchell) of Picton, died at the age of 95.  Daughter of the late Morley and Lillian Mitchell (nee Hudgin) and wife of the late Gerald.  Loving mother Sandra (Gordon) and the late Stephen.  Loved by her 3 grandchildren: Tammy (Dwayne), Bryan (Melissa), and Shannon (Andy),  and her 5 great grandchildren: Dylan (Haley), Jayden, Mason, Lacy, and Eli.  Reunited with her siblings: Laverne, Albert, Carman, Wilhelmina Monroe, and Hilda McIntosh.  Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.  Sadly missed by her dear companion, Pyper. In keeping with Nancy’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  If desired, donations to the Loyalist Humane Society would be appreciated.  Arrangements entrusted to Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street (613-476-2450).  Online condolences at: www.rushnellfuneralhomes.com
