Rosanna died peacefully in Napanee Hospital on September 21, 2026 at the age of 82, with family by her side. She was small in stature but there was no stronger fighter than her as she faced multiple health issues over the last 11 years.
In 1983 she married Lloyd (deceased 2021) and she is survived by her sister Romona and her brother Bill (Barb) as well as 5 nephews and nieces: Brad, Craig, Dana, Meghan, Kaitlin, and their 13 children. Predeceased by her sister Joanne (Doug).
Rosanna was very proud to have graduated as an R.N. from Stratford School of Nursing. She worked in many sectors of healthcare but spent most of her career as a head nurse at Toronto General Hospital.
After retiring she and Lloyd moved back to Lloyd’s home street in Picton where they purchased and renovated the house next door. Here, she enjoyed travelling to faraway spots, learning to play golf, volunteering on County boards and, most of all, having time for her new passion: quilting. She loved to design and hand quilt creations and soon filled a room with boxes of all things quilting, each box colour-coded, of course. 
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place at Picton United Church,12 Chapel Street at 1:00 pm on October 7, 2026. A Private Family Burial will take place at a later date. If desired, donations to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
