Passed away peacefully at Hospice Prince Edward, Picton, on Friday, June 6, 2025, Vera Mayne (nee Hawley) of Picton died at the age of 88. She is predeceased by her beloved husband George of 61 years. Daughter of the late Clayton & Florence Hawley. Survived by her sisters Eleanor Osterlee and Faye Everhardus and predeceased by her sisters Frances, Brenda, Geraldine, Phyllis, Thelma, Jean, Hilda, and her brother Gerald. She will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews, specifically Tami, and her friends Barb Sills and Andy & Grace Prinzen. A special thanks to all who provided healthcare services to Vera during the last months of her life. In keeping with Vera’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Private Graveside Service will be held at Cherry Valley Cemetery.
