Peacefully surrounded by the love of her family, at Hospice Prince Edward, Picton, on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, Wendy Pierson (nee Peters) of Amherstview, died at the age of 63. Daughter of the late Floyd and Mary Peters (nee Henderson) and beloved wife of Alex.  Loving mother of Amy Brant (Cain) of Deseronto, and Emily Kerr (Tim) of Picton and cherished Gammie of Colton, Wade, Rett, Reese, and Madison (Brock Hart) and great grandmother of Hewitt. Survived by her brother Wayne Peters (Gayle) of Tyendinaga Township, remembered by her nieces and nephews, Casey, and Chad, cousins Lynne, Lee, her uncle Lloyd Peters, and her cousin Tammy Prinzen, as well as her entire extended family and many friends. Wendy is resting at the Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street (613-476-2450). Funeral Service will be held in the Anglican Church of St. Mary Magdalene, Main Street, Picton on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at 1 pm with The Right Rev. Michael Oulton and the Ven. Dr. Bramwell Pearce officiating. Interment at Sophiasburgh Cemetery, Demorestville.
