It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of William James “Jim” Middleton at Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital on February 20, 2026, in his 80th year.

Jim was the beloved husband of the late Donna Middleton (née Coles). He was a loving father to Rachel (Mark), Scott (Marissa), Andrea, and Brad, and a proud grandfather to Leo, Declan, and Gwen. He was also a devoted parishioner of Friendship United Church in Demorestville.

In keeping with Jim’s wishes, a private family gathering will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Jim’s memory may be made to the Canadian Lung Association. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff and residents of Wellings of Picton for their compassion, care, and friendship.
