KERR, Robert Bruce “Bob”
Passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at the age of 91 He was the son of J. Russell Kerr and Marjorie Hardy Kerr and although Bob was born in Vancouver, BC he enjoyed his time in Waupoos, Picton and throughout the County. He spent childhood and teenage summers and vacations and frequent trips as an adult visiting and working with his aunts and uncles, Russ’ siblings Marge, Herb, Caroline, Don, Bill, Mabel and their spouses that he would later regale to his own children, Bruce, Gordon, Connie and Keith with tales of his time and adventures in Sunnybank, Black Creek, the Sandbanks, and of course the goings-on in Picton itself. He leaves behind many cousins and friends in and around Waupoos, most notably Catherine (Cay) Wattam Powers Rands, his oldest living relative and as well a great respect for the people of the County in the minds of all who knew Bob and especially his four kids out here in the West. The County was in his blood! Contributions to the Rose House Museum appreciated
