Prince Edward OPP are investigating a fatal collision in Albury on County Road 3.
On Tuesday, July 15th, at approximately 5:30 p.m., members of the Prince Edward County Detachment were dispatched to a report of a collision between a sport utility vehicle and a pedestrian west of Weese Road.
The pedestrian, a 97-year-old from Prince Edward County, was pronounced deceased on scene. The driver of the SUV was not injured.
County Road 3 was closed between Weese Road and Old Orchard Road for several hours to allow for investigations by Technical Collision Investigators and a Collision Re-constructionist. The road has since been reopened.
The investigation remains ongoing.
